Spaces and teammates

Collaborative workflows: Managing multi-tenant environments with Spaces and RBAC.

What a Space is

A Space is an organizational container for widgets—similar to a “project” or “workspace”. Spaces help you keep clients, brands, or sites separated and make it easier to collaborate.

Open Spaces here: /dashboard/spaces.

Create a Space

In /dashboard/spaces, click New Space, give it a name, and optionally choose a color and image.

A good Space naming pattern is: the website domain or brand name (for example, “acme.com” or “Acme Landing Pages”).

Invite teammates

Inside a Space, you can invite teammates by email and assign a role. Roles control what teammates can do.

If you receive an invite, you can accept it from the Spaces screen and then manage widgets together.

Storage and media

Storage usage is tracked at the account level. If you use uploads across multiple widgets, Spaces still help you stay organized, but storage limits apply to your whole account.

For media-heavy widgets, use the Media Library so assets are managed consistently.

How Spaces help (real-world examples)

Spaces are an organizational layer. They help you keep widgets grouped by brand, site, or client.

Examples:

  • Agencies: one Space per client (including client name + domain).
  • Startups: one Space per product area (marketing site vs docs vs app).
  • Ecommerce: one Space per storefront/region.

This makes it easier to manage limits, permissions, and troubleshooting because you can quickly identify which widgets belong together.

Inviting teammates safely

In /dashboard/spaces, open a Space and invite teammates by email.

Tip: grant the minimum role needed. If someone only needs to view widgets, use a viewer role. If they need to edit and publish, use editor access.

If an invite isn’t received:

  • Check spam/junk.
  • Confirm the email is correct.
  • Re-send the invite.

If you continue to have issues, contact support and include the Space name and invitee email (no screenshots needed).

Media and storage guidance

Uploads are stored for your account. Use Spaces to stay organized, but remember storage limits are account-wide.

For best results:

  • Use the Media Library whenever a widget supports it.
  • Prefer uploads for brand assets.
  • Use Unsplash for tasteful stock images with attribution.

Need help? Send the right details (so we can answer fast)

Support is fastest when we can reproduce the issue.

Please include:

  • The page URL where the widget is embedded (or the editor URL)
  • The platform/builder (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Squarespace, etc.)
  • What you expected to happen vs what you see
  • A screenshot of where the snippet is pasted (or a short screen recording)

If your issue involves a social connection (Instagram/Threads/TikTok), also include:

  • Which login path you used (Instagram vs Meta vs TikTok)
  • A screenshot of the provider error screen (if any)
